Just emotions…

What is that song? Just emotions, taking over….

Wow, i guess its not surprising two weeks at home and my emotions are all over the shop.

So if you’re reading this, chances are you can relate to the struggle of managing emotions. I totally get it. As a 33-year-old woman from a dysfunctional family background, I know what it’s like to feel a range of emotions, from frustration and rage to anxiety and fear.

But here’s the thing, with a little bit of mindfulness and self-awareness, you can learn to better manage your triggers and react less. As a certified holistic coach, I’ve discovered the power of self-love and how it can help us overcome emotional challenges.

Now, I won’t lie, going home to my family can still bring on some anxiety. I find myself slipping into old patterns and reliving some traumatic experiences. But, I’ve learned that our emotions aren’t something to fear or suppress. They’re opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

For me, mindfulness and self-awareness have been key in managing my emotions. By taking the time to understand my thoughts and feelings, I’ve been able to identify my triggers and find new ways to handle them. And, when I feel myself slipping into old patterns, I just take a deep breath and try to stay calm.

And self-love? It’s a game-changer. By focusing on my own needs and desires, I’ve built a stronger sense of self-worth and confidence. This has allowed me to set boundaries with my family and stand up for myself when I need to.

In a nutshell, our emotions can be tough to handle, but they can also be a source of growth and self-discovery. So, don’t be afraid to embrace the power of your emotions. Just give mindfulness and self-awareness a try, and you’ll be surprised at how much you can learn about yourself. And, of course, don’t forget to show yourself some love. Good luck on your journey!
